BokaMera already knows which times are free, which services you sell and how long they take. Kim asks and books. We compute nothing ourselves.
Free start times are fetched from BokaMera per service. Schedules, resources and existing bookings are already applied when the answer arrives, so Kim works from exactly the list your own online booking shows.
When the booking is created, BokaMera's own time strings are echoed back verbatim and BokaMera validates against its live state. The consequence is worth understanding: a time can at worst look taken when it is free, but it can never be booked at the wrong hour.
Registration number, mileage and the chosen service ride along as a comment on the booking, so the mechanic or optician knows what the visit is about before the customer arrives.
We spell this out because it is cheaper for everyone to know up front than to find out with a guest on the phone.
Does Kim see the same times as our online booking?
Yes, it is the same endpoint. Book through your own site and the time leaves Kim's list; book through Kim and it leaves your site's list.
Do we have to pay BokaMera extra?
The API licence is an add-on on their side and costs what they charge for it. We add no markup and nothing per booking.
What if BokaMera is down?
Kim stops offering times and hands over to staff rather than booking blind. The error shows with a timestamp under Integrations in the portal.
BokaMera is a trademark of its owner. VOCA is an independent vendor, not part of or endorsed by them. The logo is shown to identify which system the connection is for.
