HomeAI agents on your website

Prepare your website for AI agents

Your next visitor might bring an AI agent. VOCA's website chat gives you Kim on your site and a foundation for letting compatible agents ask questions in the same conversation.

Agent support in development

Availability depends on the browser, agent and website settings. Contact us to explore what can be tested on your website.

Example of the planned flow
  1. The visitor

Help me find an appointment with this business.

  2. The visitor's AI agent

Asks Kim a question in the website chat

  3. Kim on your website

Answers using your business information and helps with the next step

The same visible conversation. The visitor stays in control.

A faster path to booking

More than faster than a regular browser agent

Fewer clicks, less waiting. The agent sends booking details straight to Kim and gets a clear response to act on.

Let your visitor’s AI agent go straight from request to booking. Kim gives the agent a clear next step while the visitor stays in control.

  1. Every detail in one go

The agent sends the date, time, party size and contact details straight to Kim, who checks availability and prepares a proposal.

  2. One approval away from booking

The visitor approves the proposal. The agent confirms with Kim and receives the booking status, in the same visible chat.

Less waiting. Closer to a booking.

Make it easy to choose your business, even when visitors use an AI agent. Kim uses your existing business information and booking rules, so more steps can happen directly in the chat.

The comparison covers the agent’s booking flow using Kim’s agent tools versus navigating and using ordinary web chat.

A new way to reach the same Kim

Make it easier for an agent to ask your business a question

An AI agent can help someone complete tasks on the web, such as asking about a service or exploring booking options. To take the next step, the agent needs to understand how to use the website.

VOCA is developing WebMCP support in its existing chat widget. This gives compatible agents a defined way to send a message and read the chat's status. Kim handles the question using the same information and flows as when a visitor types it themselves.

The information you've already given Kim

Questions about your business go through the same Kim that helps your regular chat visitors. You don't need to build a separate AI agent with a new set of answers.

Your existing booking flow

When Kim supports your booking integration, a compatible agent can help the visitor through the same flow. Availability checks, booking rules and confirmation still apply.

A conversation you can follow

The agent's messages and Kim's replies are part of the visible conversation on your website. The visitor can see what's happening and continue chatting themselves.

How it's designed to work

From the visitor's question to the right next step

  1. The visitor asks for help

Someone uses a compatible AI agent and opens your website, where your usual VOCA chat widget with Kim is available.

  2. The agent uses the website chat

When support is enabled and available, the agent can discover the chat's tools, ask questions and read its status. It doesn't have to guess how every button in the chat works.

  3. Kim replies in the same conversation

Kim uses your business information and available integrations. A booking requires a proposal followed by the visitor's explicit confirmation. Asking about an appointment does not create a booking.

The technology behind it

What is WebMCP?

WebMCP is a browser interface that lets a website describe tools a compatible AI agent can use. For VOCA, it's a small connection to the existing chat: sending a message and reading its status.

This makes the way into the chat clearer. It doesn't automatically make the rest of the website accessible to every agent, or mean that every AI assistant can use the tools. Browser support and an agent's ability to discover the chat need to be verified separately.

Website chat today. Agent support as the next step.

You can already use Kim as your regular website chat. Native WebMCP support is being developed and tested, and is not generally enabled across customer websites. Support for a particular browser or AI agent needs to be checked before we promise it.

When agent support isn't available, visitors can keep typing to Kim as usual. Contact us to review your widget, integrations and what's needed for an agent test.

Questions about AI agents on your website

Does this work with every AI agent?

No. Support depends on both the browser and the AI agent a visitor uses. Having WebMCP in the browser doesn't automatically mean a particular agent can discover or use the chat. We verify those combinations before promising support.

Do we need to rebuild our website?

It starts with VOCA's existing chat widget, which you add to your website. Agent support is being developed as a connection to that chat. Enabling it may require additional settings depending on the browser, website and how the widget is embedded.

Can an AI agent make a booking for a visitor?

The planned support lets a compatible agent help a visitor through Kim's existing booking flow. What Kim can do depends on the connected integration. The usual availability checks and booking rules apply, and a booking proposal requires the visitor's explicit confirmation in a later step.

Will the widget improve rankings in Google or AI search?

There is no such guarantee. Agent support is about using the chat when an agent visits your website. Visibility in Google and AI search is a separate matter that depends on factors including accessible, relevant and helpful content. The widget itself does not guarantee that your website will be indexed, recommended or ranked higher.

Is this the same as VOCA's MCP for business owners?

No. This page is about a visitor's AI agent and your public website chat. VOCA's separate MCP connection is for business owners who want to work with Kim from their own AI assistant after signing in.

What if agent support isn't available, or we want to turn it off?

The regular chat is designed to keep working when WebMCP isn't available. The implementation has separate settings to turn off agent discovery and native tools. The website chat doesn't give an agent separate access to your business administration.
